Today I have the honor of being featured over on Faith and Good Works blog by Jenny as she continues her series: “Interview with a Homeschool Mom Series.” It was good for me to think through her 10 questions and re-visit why I love homeschooling – especially this time of year.
As we are getting our gardens ready and have new baby chicks (I’m a sucker, we got 11 new ones last week) and the grass is green and the blooms on the citrus trees are blooming, it is absolutely my favorite time of year! It happens EVERY year around Easter. As God is reminding me of His holiness coming down, serving the very people who betrayed him, dying for each and every one of us, and then, THEN, resurrection! Rebirth! The Holy Spirit! It just puts my mind to looking for rebirth all around. God is the most beautiful creator and I’m praising Him we live out in the country now and are able to see it more fully.
So in that, I am making no promises to re-birth this blog, but I hope to be able to update you all here more frequently, especially on the work with Heshima Ministries that I have started. I leave for Uganda in 18 days!!! Pray for our vision trip and the women I finally get to meet. They are so precious to me!
